One major attribute of an empathic intuitive medium is not only do you feel all the emotions of the living you also pick up on and feel the emotions and turmoil of those who have passed. As in life the spirit world is filled with the souls of the good, bad, and the ugly. Oh yes can’t forget the jokester and mischievous. The thing I do not understand is the methods in which or lengths for that matter that some will go to in an effort to make contact with spirit. Electronic gadgets left only to one’s imagination have become the main stay and methodology in gaining access to the dearly or not so dearly departed.
Ok, I do understand that there are times in which one may want to use technology to connect for example when physical harm is being inflicted on the living or when every natural method to communicate with a non-benevolent spirit has been exhausted. I have witnessed individuals going out of their way to provoke and prod spirit just to get a reaction. Would you want someone to bully your children, grandmother, sister, brother or anyone you care about for that matter. Why bully spirit? These souls were once the living having life’s ambitions, dreams, successes, failures and experiencing everything our third dimensional plane can dish out. If you have to resort to electronic means be respectful. On the other hand if spirit wants to communicate they will, if they don’t they won’t and no amount of expensive electronic equipment will make it happen. My opinion is that if you provoke spirit you are apparently asking for trouble with a capital T. Spirit or otherwise called Ouija Boards are no exception to this. Boards open a portal that can invite all kinds of nasty entities and attachments into your life.
As a medium I have experienced many audible and physical occurrences where spirit is concerned. Not once during my encounters did I call them out or provoke them for a response. Spirit made themselves known because they wanted to do so nothing more, nothing less. The key here is to honor and respect those souls that have gone before us, the jokester, mischievous and even those who may be angry for we didn’t live their lives and have no idea what they may have gone through while living. I have seen doors physically open or close on their own, heard whimpering sobs, felt physical touch on my hands and cheek, seen pictures fall from the walls, and experienced deafening knocking on the walls and ceiling. I have seen electronic devices turn on and off at will and picked up EVP’s without trying as well as smelled flower scents, tobacco smoke, and heard my name audibly spoken. Oh, not to mention seeing shadowy figures, full-bodied apparitions and floating orbs. All these experiences were spirits way to let me know they were around. I recognized their presence and asked them to go into the light. Some refuse and would rather stay on the Earth plane each for various reasons. The bottom line is to show respect and compassion for the departed.
Quite honestly there have been times in my life that I would have much rather prefered the company of departed souls rather than that of the living. Can you relate? On an extremely important note anytime you are dealing with spirit whether the meek or boisterous.. ( Just click your heals three times and repeat after me; Protection is Crucial, Protection is Crucial, Protection is Crucial.) Think of it in these terms: your are at a quaint little sidewalk cafe early in the morning all is quiet and peaceful just you sitting at a table for two having a delicious cup of coffee; funny you hear someone call out your name you look up and see an old acquaintance who sits down next to you at your table you both begin to have a nice soft-spoken conversation. Suddenly you see a tour bus barreling down the street and coming to a screeching stop precisely next to the table in which you are sitting. The bus door suddenly opens and a rambunctious group of loud rowdy tourists of all shapes, sizes, personalities, dispositions, and ages begin to leave the bus interrupting your once previous peaceful experience. Point, you never know what you may encounter where spirit is concerned. Unannounced activity whether benevolent or otherwise requires an immediate prayer for protection. Yes, it may have been without a shadow of a doubt that you and Dear Aunt Sally were having that peaceful conversation however you must always be prepared for strangers to possibly in a most alarming way make their presence known.
I highly respect Paranormal professionals who evidently know what they are doing and have made it a priority to acquire those with psychic abilities to become a part of their team. Psychic Mediums provide investigators with crucial information regarding circumstances behind a passing as well as the emotional state the departed are experiencing. I have very little respect for those who provoke, prod, and bully spirit just to increase ratings for the latest and greatest paranormal program. It is extremely sad that others can’t view spirit as individuals who once had a life here on Earth. To label these souls as ghosts from a mediums point of view is not only disrespectful it is beyond reproach.

Being an intuitive medium carries with it major responsibility. Are we 100 percent accurate all the time? No, but being genuine is far more sincere than scurrying for words to cover your butt. You have your doubters, those who test the psychic ,as well as those who make it their life mission to discredit you know matter how accurate you maybe. Yes, there are an abundance of those who profess to be psychic and have the con game down to an art form, however there are those of us who make it a priority to help others rather than profit and deception being the ultimate goal.

“Ask and you shall receive ” is a powerful statement that can be a contradiction in terms. One may ask am I worthy to receive, do I meet the criteria, am I deserving? I have beautiful floral plaque hanging directly in front of my bed at eye level that contains the following quote , “All Your Dreams Can Come True If You Have The Courage To Pursue Them. “( author unknown). “What a beautiful saying “, I tell myself as I rapidly retrieve the plaque from its place on the shop wall and head straight to the cashier. I suppose ignorance is bliss. Subconsciously the plaque was excuse the pun, telling me here’s your sign. Only after many months of my ignoring my intuition to leave an extremely toxic work environment did the plaque register to me as a validation that my prior job was preventing me from being true to myself.
